What should I do with my worthless used textbooks?

I resell my textbooks on-line, but have a bunch that are pretty much worthless and not worth the time and energy I would put into selling them. Does anyone have any suggestion about what to do with them. When I found the Global Book Exchange I thought it would be perfect, but they cannot take donations until January. About 5 or 7 of the books are math and science books that are 2 years old and have new editions. (you know where they change some superfluous information) I'm sure someone somewhere could use these "outdated" books, and I would really just like to get them out of my room. What should I do with my worthless used textbooks?
give them to goodwill or to another thrift store!
I would suggest using GreenTextbooks.org

take them to a used bookstore or to a thrift store, and they'll either give them away or resell them for a few cents, and you can write it off on your taxes. ask them for a tax deduction form if you're willing to fill stuff out to get a few dollars back.
try freecycle.org you post an advert of what you have and if someone wants them they come and collect them its all done free of charge iv had loads of good books and other things for my son Good luck
You could give them to a local thrift shop like Goodwill or St. Vincent De Paul. If there is a Half-Price Books in your area you could see if they are interested, though you probably won't get much money for them.
if they are in very good condition you could sell them to a a teacher or a website that sells books for teachers
