I'd say to give http://www.bigwords.com a try. They'll save ya a ton of money on textbooks. I'm a senior in college and I've been using them since freshmen year and it's been nothing but success. They search all the online textbook retailers and rental sites then compare all the lowest prices to find you the best deals. It's pretty awesome. I'd suggest looking into it.

Is there some sort of financial aid for college textbooks?Yes financial aid covers textbooks. Most schools either allow you to charge the books to your account or they'll give you a voucher -- the catch is that you'll have to purchase them at the schools bookstore and you have to accept your financial aid (whether it's grants or loans). Is there some sort of financial aid for college textbooks?
If you can't get help I'd check out http://www.epictextbooks.com/ because you can get your books really cheap, or you can at least see how much they cost online. But usually financial aid will pay for books.
Good Luck
I know that there are specific scholarships out there to be used for textbooks. I can't remember the names, but I know www.zinch.com had several of them last time I searched.
Did you get financial aid this semester, if so, you probably would have a store account with the bookstore at your college!
Good luck on your venture!!
