It's kinda like who controls the past controls the future. If you have kids teach them to find information outside of school and know that there were 13 appointed presidents before George Washington, and many other things they over looked, and also teach your kids to stand up for what is true and what they find out. I don't think we should make everything so politically correct it's boring!What good is it for our little skulls full of mush children to study history textbooks?
History is a valued asset to gain knowledge in and your premise about libs altering it is ridiculous.

The debate over history books has been going on for decades. Most would say the most powerful people in the world are those who write our text books, I would say those who edit our textbooks have the power.
