Where is the cheapest online place to buy textbooks?

If I bought my textbooks at my college bookstore (Barnes and Noble) then they would cost over $800 and i am only taking 13 credits. any help for finding the cheapest price possible would be awesome. i dont care at all about the condition of the book so used books is probably best! thanks!Where is the cheapest online place to buy textbooks?
You need to shop around. Look at textbook specialty sites and also at abebooks.com and side-sellers of used books on amazon.com.

Be sure to go to the US abebooks.com site and not the British one. You can identify the nation of the site by looking at the addresses of the sellers. The two abebooks.com sites come up with same URL on google.com, but are different sites. The British site seems to be listed first, probably because it pays for advertising.

I have no financial or other interest in either company.

Hi! textbooks are so expensive, i know! :( and i'm not trying to sound like one of those spam advertisements, but i have found renting to be the best options. i have been using CampusBookRentals.com (again, not trying to sound like an advertisement haha) but i know there are tons of other sites out there like Chegg and Textbooks.com, you can check around to find the best prices! it's really convenient to rent them, bc shipping is free! good luck :)
I buy almost all my text books off of half.com. Another website you could try is cheapbooks.com. After typing in the book, it will show you the cheapest websites to buy your books.
Don't buy books you'll never use after the semester is over, rent them!
