I only have to use three textbooks this semester, but either used or new, they're going to cost me between $225-$300 at my college bookstore. There's NO WAY I can afford anywhere near that! Thanks!Where can I find the lowest prices on textbooks?
Before you pay for any books, you should check out this guide for finding textbooks for free: http://makecollegereality.com/ebooks/the鈥?/a> If you鈥檙e lucky, you won鈥檛 have to pay a dime for the book.
You can buy them online, which is almost always cheaper than getting them from your college bookstore. You can find good places to buy books online here: http://makecollegereality.com/succeed/ge鈥?/a>
You can also rent books, which some people like. The disadvantage is you really need to be careful about protecting them, not losing them, and sending them in on time or it can cost you a lot more than buying them new. If you think you'd like to rent them, I'd recommend checking out this article: http://makecollegereality.com/succeed/ge鈥?/a>
You can also get digital textbooks. You will either download the book onto your computer or get an online subscription. Either way you will only be able to use it for one semester - you can't keep the book forever. If you're interested in e-books, check out this article for places to find them: http://makecollegereality.com/succeed/ge鈥?/a>
Great info I would also suggest using GreenTextbooks.org

GreenTextbooks.org specializes in the recycling of textbooks, DVDs, CDs. Buying used textbooks not only saves you money, but cuts down on greenhouse gases caused by the manufacturing of new textbooks.
With GreenTextbooks.org you're not only saving trees, you are saving some green. http://www.GreenTextbooks.orgWhere can I find the lowest prices on textbooks?
There are number of websites that people would say to buy books. However the one that many people on my campus and myself use to compare textbook prices before buying is the :
