Are there any bookstores in Chicago that buy used textbooks?

I have a bunch of old textbooks from grade school and high school that I am looking to get rid of.Are there any bookstores in Chicago that buy used textbooks?

Are there any bookstores in Chicago that buy used textbooks?
Your initial question doesn't mention the grade level. Below is a used textbook company that has been in Chgo many years. They are by several college campi. Call and ask about elementary and secondary levels:

Old texts are not worth much. One of the reasons for the high cost of education is that the books are only used for 3 or 4 years then updated with new editions or the purchasing powers get perks from textbook companies that give big perks for new orders.



I have kept and refer to my old grammar/composition and math texts. The rules haven't changed. Other subjects are updated making older editions valuable only for resource usage and nostalgia.Are there any bookstores in Chicago that buy used textbooks?
