Is it convenient to buy textbooks in the form of eBook?

I'm starting college in the fall, and I have read a few articles saying how hard it is to find textbooks in the form of eBook. Should I stick with traditional hardcover, or make the jump to an eReader?

I know it is easier on the body when you don't have to carry around all those books. On the other hand, there's nothing like good old fashioned text on paper. I just want to know if it'll be a more convenient choice to buy them for an eReader. Is it convenient to buy textbooks in the form of eBook?
I do suggest the Kindle which has the best support on college textbooks. I've mentioned quite a lot about textbooks on the Amazon Kindle, in another answer here:

And here you can find textbooks for the Kindle. Do a search to see how many of your textbooks are available there:

And you can consider the Kindle or the Kindle DX for reading your textbooks (the new Kindle DX Graphite version is now at cheaper price and with better contrast). Read this review and you should be able to decide which one to get:

Hope this helps.

You do not need an e-reader to use e-textbooks. You can download them right to your laptop or get a subscription where you can access them wherever you can access the internet. You can find places to find e-books here: http://makecollegereality.com/succeed/ge鈥?/a>Is it convenient to buy textbooks in the form of eBook?
