What are some good textbooks on 20th century music theory?

Hey, I'm trying to find good textbooks on 20th century theory. I have Schoenberg's Theory of Harmony, Messiaen's Technique of My Musical Language, and Brindle's Serial Composition. Are those books a good start? Does anyone have any other suggestions?

Please keep in mind that by 20th century I do not mean serialism exclusively. What are some good textbooks on 20th century music theory?
That's a good starting point, Brindle will only take you up to about 1930. After then resources get scarce.

Other good resources:

Simple Composition by Charles Wourinen

Introduction to post-tonal theory by Joseph Strauss

12-tone music of Luigi Dallapiccola by Brian Alegant

Music notation in the twentieth century by Kurt Stone

Perspectives on New music by Edward T. Cone

Basic atonal theory by John Rahn

There are also plenty of Journals worth looking into such as:

20th Century Music

Perspectives in New Music

I have found that the AB guide to music theory books are good.

The pink one is for grades 1 - 5.

The blue one is for grades 6 - 8.

They are written by Eric Taylor.

Happy reading.
