How much do high school students pay for textbooks?

I am doing a survey for my school newspaper, and I need to know how much students pay for their textbooks. Any reply would help!How much do high school students pay for textbooks?
We borrowed almost all of our books from the school for free, only paying if they were lost.



Only exception was that we bought our own copies of the story books (as opposed to grammar books) for English class, which ran the usual $5-$20 at local bookstores.

im in high school and it depends how old the books are. if they are newer, for a replacement it could be between 70-90 dollars. older ones maybe be cheaper cause i had to pay for one and it was only 30 because it wasnt as updatedHow much do high school students pay for textbooks?
Most high school students don't pay for their books. They use them, but don't own them. They only buy them if they lose or damage them and have to replace it.
High school students? Where I went to school, students didn't need to pay for their textbooks unless they ruined the ones they were given.
Pay for textbooks? Seriously? High school students pay for textbooks? I'm not that old; when I was in high school the books were free.
The newer thae book the more you pay, for example I lost a new Lang. Arts book I had to pay 120.00.
