How can you download textbooks from MyScribe onto an Ipod touch?

I am in college online and I would like to download my textbooks onto my Ipod touch so I can access them more conveniently. Under the file tab on MyScribe it does say "Download to USB drive" but my laptop isn't recognizing the Ipod as a mass storage device. It's a 16 gb so I know I have room. What do I do? That was the whole purpose of getting the Ipod. Any help would be great! How can you download textbooks from MyScribe onto an Ipod touch?
The iPod touch is the only iPod that doesn't show up on the computer as a USB mass storage device.

Your best bet would probably be a paid app called Flash Drive (from the iTunes store). It's $2.99. There is a way to do it for free though.

Which firmware do you have on your iPod, 3.0? I use a program called GoodReaderUSB (works on mac and windows) to put files on my iPod. Then all I have to do is use an app like GoodReader, iFile, mobile finder, or an ebook reader app to open the book. I've also heard that iphonebrowser is a good program, but I'm a mac user and it's windows only.

Tell me if it works!
I do not know if they are free or not but you can download them at http://www.textbooktorrents.co鈥?/a> and http://www.GreenTextbooks.com
