What is the strongest design for balancing textbooks on top of only toothpicks?

Allright so my math teacher assigned a project today that requires using 100 toothpicks to create a free standing structure. The structure will have to be strong enough to support the weight of at least 4 heavy textbooks, and in addition I can only use white elmers glue to glue the toothpicks together. I need suggestions for a design that will be strong enough to support these books. Thanks you!|||I think if you can build a tringular shaped through the toothpicks it could hold heavy books. It would be like pyramids.

May be you can build 4 pyramids to be set under the each corner of the book or a single big triangle would work

Just try and see.

Good luck

Note. But toothpicks should be perfectly glued together/|||I would buy used at GreenTextbooks.com - Saving the Planet One Textbook at a Time
