|||Old textbooks are almost useless. Libraries don't want old books--people always think they do, but, as a librarian, believe me, they don't. And I doubt very much the Salvation Army will pick them up. I had a huge sofa once and I practically had to beg them to come and take it.

Or if you want to sell for money, i think you put it on ebay or something, if the books are worthy.

|||i cant donate my textbooks because i write on them. nobody wants them even for free. (i would though, seeing as i know the true value of those books) otherwise i buy only superb books that i am positive will tech me what i need without redundancy, academy talk and needless digressions.

|||@ my library they don't really take old books. and the ones that are brought or dropped of are sold. The best way would be chegg.com. You could find out if you can get money for the books. Or you could try hospitals.

|||Our library takes old books, but is very specific about NOT taking textbooks. There are organizations out there which collect old textbooks and take them to countries where there aren't enough textbooks for the students.

The webiste also sell their textbooks to students for a much cheaper price than if they bought them new in a store.|||Donate the books to the high school from where you came from. The teachers will make better use of them.|||See if your public library wants them.|||Paper recycling bin.
Most of them are made obsolete to generate new sales. Recycling them as paper makes sense in the big picture.|||Half.com Then take the money and give it to a good church.
